The house is situated near the northern tip of the Island and commands fabulous views over the Aegean sea to Skiathos, the 'floating islands', and Mount Pelion (on the mainland)... and much further. The private drive winds steeply up through fruit and olive groves.

The closest town is Glossa (a 20 minute walk via donkey track or 15 minute drive). Glossa is a gorgeous traditional Greek town with steep and narrow cobbled streets, some intriguing shops, eateries which include one of Greece's finest restaurants, Agnanti (www.agnanti.com.gr). There are also supermarkets, a butcher, grocer, baker and other shops. The town sits on the hillside above the fishing village of Loutraki which also has cafes, restaurants and shops.
